Latest Updates from Our Project:

Updated Fulfillment Timeline
over 2 years ago – Mon, Jan 24, 2022 at 01:47:30 PM

Hey, all.

As you’ve probably gathered from today’s subject line, fulfillment on Dungeon Craft: Series 3 has been delayed. Between paper shortages, factory waitlists, and delays in sample shipping, this process is taking significantly longer than expected. While we are more than happy to answer any questions about the current global situation, Quackalope did a much better job of explaining it than we ever could. Check out their video here

Current Fulfillment Timeline - as of 1/21/22

Our current estimates suggest that we will have our final print samples in hand by March, and we will keep you in the loop between now and then with regular, bi-weekly updates featuring production news and finished art reveals.

Once we have approved these final print samples, everything will be full-steam ahead. We expect production to wrap up in May. After that, it will take 1-2 weeks for your pledges to be processed and picked up for freight. Once DC3 hits the high seas, we will share an updated schedule of ETAs by region.

For now, we estimate an early August arrival worldwide – just before Gencon! However, since our last container sat on a boat for 45 days, we will be keeping a close eye on things to ensure that this timeline remains accurate.

As a quick note to everyone who pledged for miniatures on this campaign, those will be fulfilled sooner and shipped to you separately. We will share more precise timelines for that as we get closer to the ship date.

We appreciate your continued patience and support. If there’s any type of content that you’d like to see us share during the waiting weeks ahead, please let us know down in the comments. More stretch goal sneak peeks, maybe?

Mini Proofs, Sample Progress, and More Snow Pages!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Dec 16, 2021 at 10:13:42 PM

Hey, all!

We'll keep it short and sweet today and let the pictures do the talking. First up, we're excited to share that mini production is moving along nicely. Our master prints came in the other day and all we can say is...GIANT CRAB!! 🦀

This Miniature is the actual size of a crab! This is just its shell and it fills up a whole hand.
The Tomb King facing off against the Breaker of Men!

Next on the agenda is accessories. We've been going back and forth with the manufacturer for our journals, cards, and DM screens for a few iterations now to fix printing errors and refine the samples to top-notch status. After our most recent round of proofs and the waitlist finally starting to clear, we hope to start full production very soon.

We decided to make the DM screen Matte after we kept finding odd streaking in the Glossy versions. This is the first matte version and it looks amazing!

Finally, just a little seasonal fun from our Snow Add-On Pack. So, this scene is dramatically different depending on the level of snowmelt. Mid-winter? Picturesque. Stately. Maybe mildly terrifying, but in that good Galadriel way. Right?

See, the problem arises when your players get too close, stumble on something solid, or really just cast a fireball within fifty feet. Yep, this is going to be fun!

What story arc would you come up with to continue the action post-zombie/popsicle discovery?

Interior Design 101 🏡 (Or, A Building Pack Preview)
over 2 years ago – Mon, Nov 08, 2021 at 12:47:31 PM

Hey, all!

Who's ready to kick off the weekend with another terrain pack preview? After our last chilly share,  we thought we'd head inside to warm up with a peek at our Empty Building & Furnishings.  We'll be back in a week or so with a quick production update but for now, let's embrace our inner interior designers and get to building some player death traps (er, dwellings? 🤔).

All of your standard dorm room accessories—desks, bookshelves, beds, and caged wolves.
Perfect for a post-adventure feast and subsequent food coma.
Alright, HGTV fans, what are the best uses for all of these tiny rooms?
Fun Fact: Everything's a mimic, you just haven't rolled high enough on Perception yet.

With both of our add-on packs now covered, what should we cover next? Any favorite stretch goal you want to catch a glimpse at before your pledge arrives?

Have a great weekend!

Let It Snow! Add-On Pack Art Haul ❄️
over 2 years ago – Fri, Oct 01, 2021 at 05:43:16 PM

Hey, everyone!

We've been busy cranking through the art for all of the awesome add-on packs and stretch goal unlocks, which is why it's been a little quiet here on the Kickstarter front. Now that the final pieces are starting to roll in, we should have a steady stream of fun shares for the next few months as we head toward our March ETA.

And yeah, we get that fall just started and it's way too early for winter references. Unfortunately, we didn't have an autumn pack so you'll just have to look forward to freezing your player's butts off in the great white north (or south..or whichever direction is extra chilly in your world). With all of that out of the way, let's get this weather front moving!

Ice, ice baby.
So that's what happened to Hedwig...
Looks like someone's having a bad day.
Wonder if that gives him a brain freeze...
Talk about a vacay with a view.

Well, that's all for today. Want to toss any specific pack previews on the request line? Leave us a note down in the comments!

Air Ship Unlocked! Share Your Ideas For Our Community Creation
over 2 years ago – Sat, Aug 14, 2021 at 02:06:20 AM

Hey there folks, and happy Friday.

We're excited to help you kick off the weekend on a high note with the news that we have officially unlocked our final stretch goal—the Air Ship set! As promised, we want to celebrate the success of this campaign by making two of our stretch goals a community effort. Our artist is about ready to get started on the City Square and Air Ship sets, so we'd love to get your ideas by next Monday, 8/16. Without further ado...

Share Your Ideas Here!

Thank you all for your continued support throughout this campaign and over on Backerkit. We couldn't have done this without you! Before we leave you to your Friday night fun, we wanted to share an upcoming project that we thought a few of you might find interesting. If you're on Instagram, you're probably familiar with the awesome items and other game assets from Dungeon Scribe. Seriously, they're one of our favorite people in our feed. There's a crystal heart from earlier this week that had us plotting entire adventures.

Anywho, back from the sidetrack, Hos will be launching a Kickstarter for Dungeon Scribe's Magical Oddities next Tuesday. Between these three card decks, you'll find yourself armed with 150 new magical oddities that are sure to befuddle, bewilder, and probably bait your players into some terrible life choices. Want to add them to your DM survival pack? Sign up to be notified when they go live here!

Have a great weekend, everyone, and we'll see you in the comments.
