Hey, everyone!

We've been busy cranking through the art for all of the awesome add-on packs and stretch goal unlocks, which is why it's been a little quiet here on the Kickstarter front. Now that the final pieces are starting to roll in, we should have a steady stream of fun shares for the next few months as we head toward our March ETA.  

And yeah, we get that fall just started and it's way too early for winter references. Unfortunately, we didn't have an autumn pack so you'll just have to look forward to freezing your player's butts off in the great white north (or south..or whichever direction is extra chilly in your world). With all of that out of the way, let's get this weather front moving!

Air Ship Unlocked! Share Your Ideas For Our Community Creation

Hey there folks, and happy Friday. 

We're excited to help you kick off the weekend on a high note with the news that we have officially unlocked our final stretch goal—the Air Ship set! As promised, we want to celebrate the success of this campaign by making two of our stretch goals a community effort. Our artist is about ready to get started on the City Square and Air Ship sets, so we'd love to get your ideas by next Monday, 8/16. Without further ado...

Thank you all for your continued support throughout this campaign and over on Backerkit. We couldn't have done this without you! Before we leave you to your Friday night fun, we wanted to share an upcoming project that we thought a few of you might find interesting. If you're on Instagram, you're probably familiar with the awesome items and other game assets from Dungeon Scribe. Seriously, they're one of our favorite people in our feed. There's a crystal heart from earlier this week that had us plotting entire adventures. 

Anywho, back from the sidetrack, Hos will be launching a Kickstarter for Dungeon Scribe's Magical Oddities next Tuesday. Between these three card decks, you'll find yourself armed with 150 new magical oddities that are sure to befuddle, bewilder, and probably bait your players into some terrible life choices. Backerkit Is Live!!! (And An Update On Airships!)

For the over 500 of you who have already completed your surveys...thank you! You guys can skip straight to the end. 

Over the last two weeks, our team has been hard at work preparing the pledge manager and filling it with everything you could possibly want from 1985 Games.  After a successful smoke test last night, we hit the go button earlier today to send out surveys to all backers. Just check the inbox connected with your Kickstarter account to get started! 

As a reminder, your Backerkit survey will allow you to: 

• Confirm your address (Note: Your shipping charge will drop drastically as soon as you confirm your shipping address.)
• Select your add-ons

and...

• Add any existing 1985 Games products to your pledge to save on shipping! 

If you have any trouble tracking down your survey, try checking your spam or promotion filters first. If it's still missing by Friday, please shoot us an email at [email protected] and Justus will take up the quest to get it re-sent.

Okay, first things first, THANK YOU!!! (times a million) 🎉

Saturday marked the successful funding of Dungeon Craft: Series 3, and together we managed to unlock six free sets of terrain for every book backer! Without all of your support throughout the campaign, we could never have accomplished what we did. We are so excited to have this opportunity to help you craft some downright epic jungle campaigns.

While we wrapped up just shy of our final stretch goal, we were totally blown away by your response in that final 24 hours. That’s why we’ve decided to keep that goal alive over on Backerkit! If we add the remaining $10k between add-ons, custom pledges, and late pledges, we’ll unlock the Air Ship free for all—complete with your input!

Speaking of Backerkit, that’s up next on our to-do list. In about two weeks, we’ll send out a smoke test to a small group of backers to make sure that everything is running smoothly. After that, we’ll send the invite to everyone and share an update here so you can be on the look-out.

One last thing for today. Our final giveaway winner has been selected and their name is...Sean Koepfinger! Sean, we’ll be in contact later this week to get your details. We had a great time this weekend reading through all of your entries, and special thanks to everyone who chimed in with their first character story.

Town Hall Unlocked!!! What’s Up Next & One Final Giveaway

There’s just one word to describe the last 24 hours. WOW!

With the Town Hall pack that’s just been unlocked, we’ve officially added six free sets of terrain for every book backer. With just 16 hours left, we’re excited to announce that we’re up to our final stretch goal ⁠— the Air Ship!

Now, we know that many of you are super excited about this one, so we want to make it a community effort. If we can hit $225k by tomorrow morning, we’ll be sending out a Kickstarter survey to each and every backer to get your ideas on what to add to this pack. Will our ship have a built-in solarium? A restaurant at the bow? How about zeppelin tops for high-flying adventure? The world is your oyster! This way, each time you take to the skies, you’ll be reminded of this campaign and your fellow creative backers.
